9 Fitness 4 All GoodGymers powered towards fitness goals in Islington.
Perfect conditions for some hard fitness graft met us on the Emirates concourse this week! With the promise of a strong leg workout am pretty sure it didn’t disappoint.
A coordination developing warm up getting our bodies up to speed and our minds super switched on, had us ready for action!
Throwing in a plyometric mix up to a lower body strength main course before a 400 metre recovery run was the order of the day and we changed exercises after each block. Stepping up, knee driving, squatting, lunging, stepping down and calf raising island hopping had our legs singing!!
Finishing off with a Team Planking shoulder tap off!
Top graft today Team!! Hope you enjoyed the session and hope to see you next week for a running based finish to the October sessions in Islington!!

4 GoodGymers worked their running magic in Fitness 4 All- Islington.
Great to have such hard workers on board tonight!! After a gradual mobility and activation warm up to get our bodies ready for the session we had a flip from last weeks Body weight circuits we really put our feet down and powered through some serious interval pyramids! Working at a manageable intensity for each individual we varied the distance and pace of the running for maximum effect! 35 minutes on tough intermittent running had everyone laser focused by the end to finish strong.
With everyone throwing in one last kick we had earned a little rest before we dominated an epic Core strength routine to hone and tone!!
Thank you very much for coming along, hope you enjoyed the session!!
Hope to see you next week!

16 Soggy GoodGymers ran 5k to Rhythams of Life homeless charity to help clean the atrium.
A day that didn't go to plan for the squad or Rhythams of Life either. Following a break in where most of the organisations technology was stolen there was minimal food donations so we were unable to go and hand out the food to the local homeless community.
Slightly lacking the sized task we had hoped to have we made the best of it sweeping, hoovering, tidying and steaming the Atrium with 20 minutes of concentrated effort. We managed to put a smile back on Farais' face after a tough week back in the country following his trip to Kashmir where the organisation started the process of building a school.
Sure next time we visit we will have loads to do and get to deliver food.
With rain still going strong we left to run a longer loop back. Dancing around puddles and weaving through the foot traffic until we got to Green Park where we pushed the pace all the way up the drag with a few strong runners doubling back to increase the distance!
Arriving back to the New Balance store soggy but well worked out we stretched out before heading off to dry out.
See you next week for our visit to St Andrews Youth Centre.
