What a wonderful day of sorting Winter colours, almost Halloween and looking for a costume for adults became tricky. so we decided the hats not sure of the theme though. We welcome Caroline who has completed her first session with us and hopefully to see you join us at many more Thames Hospice sessions.
Our next session may be after October Half Term!

Windsor and Maidenhead Report written by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Two hardy goodgymers, that's Sol and myself, were delighted to welcome Caroline and Claire to our regular Friday evening session at the Community Allotment. Together with Sue, the task owner, we've wheeled out the wheelbarrows and set to shifting soil from one old raspberry bed to a new one, and from a hippo bag to yet another vegetable bed, across the car park. Many hands made light work, and within the hour, the soil was shifted. All along we were closely being watched by the resident robin, Mr Fluffy, which now has company, perhaps Mrs Fluffy?... Well done everyone, looking forward to seeing Caroline and Claire again.

Hi Georgeta, thanks so much for yesterday. We got a huge amount done. Today, Marko, Alicia and I moved the rest of the soil from the builder’s bag, topping up some beds and truggs that needed it. We planted three of the blueberries, too. Please thank Sol, Caroline and Claire for me too.
