Charis earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Charis completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Charis was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Another beautiful sunny afternoon at the St Werb's Community Farm Gardens was had!
This week we built supports for the newly planted runner beans, rescued some spring onions from some encroaching weeds, planted up some baby chards and watered the heck out of as many beds as we could. Good work everyone!

Emmaus' warehouse will be a lot tidier or messier, depending on what they want us to do!

Charis has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Charis is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

An exciting evening awaited our team of GoodGymmers as 10 runners and five walkers headed from Queen Square to one of our favourites, Brunswick Cemetery. Our hosts may have been delayed on their return from holiday but itās one of those places weāre allowed to do our own thing and had hand tools aplenty to set about weeding the stone circle, paths and between the graves (not digging too deep).
It was great to welcome Charis to her first GoodGym session - all on the recommendation of Vicky - weāre already looking forward to seeing you next time!
Vaguely Northern Darren had volunteered as photographer and has taken us to the heights of parkour and through the keyhole.
Many bags were filled and emptied behind āthe treeā where thereās a dip in the ground, and bags were filled and not emptied when they were full of bindweed.
We ran (and walked) back and headed to Turtle Bay for a speedy Eats of ridiculously spicy food, but maybe that was just me. A great night all round with more to come on Bank Holiday Monday, fingers crossed.
