It was amazing to see so many faces at the community gardens for the last community mission session of the summer. We weeded, tidied and shoveled the garden into a much better state, ready for the next round of veg planting! Thanks everyone :)

Unlike Wimbledon Centre Court, St Werburghs Farm gardens doesn't have a roof, but this didn't disuade Matt, Tim, Georgie and Marianne from helping out for an hour.
We first moved a willow fence, that become more of a trip hazard than an actual barrier, then we covered some plants to protect them from flying birds whilst the rain kept flying down at us. After this we moved to shifting some woodchip to protect the corguettes and sheering away at the long grass to make the garden a bit more manageable.
Great work all, Zeus would be proud

GoodGymers met on a lovely Saturday morning.
We split into two tasks: One team put on their waders and got into the pond to pull out the overgrown weeds.
The other team weeded and tidied up a path in order to make it wheelchair accessible.
Was great meeting everyone and the community gardens was looking great! Well done everyone :)

The wonderous nine worked for 2 hours to tidy the tennis courts at Ardagh Community Trust. Some chopped and lopped until all the brambles and weeds, that grew fiercely at the back of the court, were cut back. An impressive result!
Whilst others barrowed the huge piles of weeds in a speedy fashion and swept the courts tidy from the leaves that has been blown all around.
It was a lovely surprise to see Jack and family, he hopes to be along to Goodgym soon.
Super job everyone, now for delicious cake and a free hot drink!
