Nice start to the day with a walk in the sunshine. Mr A was ready with his list and we had a lovely chat. There was quite a lot of Shopping today which is a positive sign and it was a pleasure to get it for him. All for the usual goodies and don’t forget the trifle and custard.

Well, this was the mission that went on over a couple of days as poor Mr A was taken back into hospital again. So when I arrived on Thursday, he wasn’t available so we arranged another time on Friday. All Mr A needed was a couple of deserts and a few essentials to keep him going and definitely don’t forget the custard!. Luckily they had everything in stock and I was able to put it all in the fridge for him while he continued recovering.

It was one of those afternoons where everything went slightly awry but recovered. I miscalculated the onions and had to go back for 2 more. Mr A likes home cooking and he was tucking into a veg bake when I returned with the shopping. We had another brief chat about phrases that you don’t hear very often nowadays. It’s always a lovely chat and Mr A is such a lovely gentleman. A very friendly squirrel 🐿️ was waiting outside the door as I left.

Definitely was a case of dodging the rain showers today. Mr A was very grateful for his shopping as it had been a bad couple of days. We had a lovely chat about the word “rigamarole”, not a word often heard nowadays. Mr A makes shopping very easy as he’s always on the ball with his list and it’s very clear about what he wants which makes it so much easier.
