Katy Massey cheered by other people 25 times.
Katy is part of a crowd that's making a huge noise. Katy has been cheered by 25 people - that's a round of applause just on their own. We hope they keep it up.

Bath Report written by Bath runner
A new task destination tonight for 17 fantastic runners at GOODGYM BATH on a 5k run out on the eastern side of Bath to RIVERSIDE YOUTH CENTRE. A great place helping to mentor young people, check it out for yourself and maybe get involved http://mentoringplus.net/
A good old warm up whilst Sam aka Paul changed into his superman outfit, well his does work for the Chronicle .
TWO TASKS TONIGHT
SHELF AND SAFETY
katie our task host was supervising her team of five on this one. They certainly made light work of this DIY task.
HOW DEEP IS YOUR GLOVE
Under my watchful eye doing a litter pick outside in the alleyway leading to the centre and what a lot of litter there was, in fact 4 BAGS FULL ranging from chocolate wrappers to cans and bottles plus some unidentified objects.
It took just 20 minutes to complete both tasks giving us time to enjoy some fitness fun and boy what fun the group had with
THE BLEEP TEST
on the basketball court with Steph enhancing the bleep so everyone could hear, Well done SAM on being the last man standing. We will definitely be doing this one again.
THEY MEASURED UP TONIGHT
Katie led the group back to the leisure centre for our stretch out and reminder we have group social on Thursday at The Boater for our monthly quiz at 7.45pm, so please try and come along everyone very welcome.
Lots of great puns glying around tonight but Sam and Mary combined both on the way home ..will defo keep the others for another day guys .
Half Marathon training Saturday at 10am from the leisure centre 11 miles approx.
Fab evening again at GOODGYM BATH

With better weather than we've had for the last few runs enticing people back into the great outdoors, we had a whopping 17 runners meeting at Bath Leisure Centre for our two-task Tuesday.
Gin and Tonics all round
We all named our favourite drink during the headcount and, as Steph pointed out, the ladies of the group clearly live much harder lives than the men, as most of them opted for a stiff alcoholic drink, while the gentlemen were happy with a nice cuppa ;)
Welcome to Richard!
With new addition Richard, and a few who were back for their first GG run since Christmas, there was lots of chatting on the first leg of our journey. But the chatter soon turned into heavy breathing when we started our steep ascent up Holloway, followed by an even steeper ascent up Shakespeare Avenue.
It was all worth it for the view
After a quick photo op with the city lights behind us we split into two groups.
The A Team - Lady Bath's team of the fab four - had the job of flyering for Bear Flat Community Market, Send A Cow for Bath Half Marathon, and some GoodGym mission flyers. They left the earth and leaf shifters up at Alexandra Park doing what they do best. The flyer team weaved their way around Junction Road and back to regroup on Bear Flat 35 minutes later and they caught sight of a rather interesting wreath attached to what may have been some student accommodation. It's amazing how many letter boxes you can target in a short space of time whilst having fun on the run.
The rest of the group shifted piles of wet leaves down a slippery hill, and those feeling particularly strong carried a very large, heavy bag from the allottments back to the lovely Virginia's car. There were a few muddy bottoms at the end of it but it's all in day's work! We also got to meet a very cute dog who couldn't quite work out what we were doing so decided to just bark encouragement at us!
It's all downhill from here
A nice downhill run back to the Leisure Centre for some stretching.
Thanks to Mary for back-marking!
See you all next week :)

Eighteen runners flew up the Holloway to hand out flyers in Bear Flat. We were feeling the bear-n at the top, but there was no drama on Shakespeare Avenue as we started going door-to-door. Fur-ever Friends is looking for Bath Half runners to fundraise for the RUH's new cancer unit and Transition Bath is advertising for the Bear Flat Christmas Market.
The Rain was No Bear-ier
No new runners today, but Ollie was back from Athens, Pascale ran (another) marathon, and Emma and Mary ran the Bath Skyline 10km - with a PB for Mary, so well done to Mary and well done to Joe who sold her the shoes she raced in.
Steph is still a bit sore, but backmarked with fur-bear-ance, and Pascale led the run with a few stops for squats and lunges.
Full of En-door-phines
We went letterbox-to-letterbox, flyered all of Bear Flat, and had enough leaflets to leaf at the local cafe on our way back down the hill.
Don't Fur-get
We've got a special Sunday-edition group run this weekend; we're going to the Bath City Farm.
The Christmas Party is coming up on 16th December, so get signed up.
Calendars are still on sale, bring £10 next week for Steph.

A soggy 8k run this evening with a “Gert Big” hill thrown in for the lucky 14 who braved the weather showing true grit to keep fit.
The Task
To paint some community banners at St Phillips and St James’s church in Odd Down and emulsion a wall in this rather large room.
Welcome Christopher ... wow!!! Another great runner in Bath.
A few announcements before we took to the hill Well done to Pascale who ran a marathon in Majorca last week... Hip Hip!! Good Luck to Ollie who’s running The Athens Marathon on Sunday .. Hip Hip!!! Cllr Goodman though you guys were great last week... so fab stuff for doing what you do every week.
Superman Sam was leader of the pack tonight with Lovely Mary back marking on one of our longer runs out to a task so no time for that extra fitness stuff for us this evening. We had a lot to get done.
Indoors
Andy was our host this evening and he was ready and waiting to direct the troops to their allotted task and a wall in need of a coat of paint or two.
Some intricate work needed on the community banners, the boys on the blue and the girls all yellow and must say you can tell who applies make up with some nifty brush Work going on. You can just make out the crib with baby Jesus in amidst the rays of sunlight, the local school children will be finishing them off tomorrow.. Fabulous stuff!!
We also enjoyed a little history lesson before leaving on how St James’s Church was bombed during the war and rebuilt in 1956. St Phillips was unaffected.
Thankfully the run back was a downhill affair but I’m sure they’ll agree that strava elevation looked mighty impressive and let’s face it the rain was very cooling tonight. That stretch out was much needed back at the leisure centre with a chat about the group pun, Thanks JOE for some great looping back and tonights edited pun.
The group enjoyed hearing about Bowen technique from Steph so here a link to explain, I really recommend http://www.bodyinbalancetherapies.com/
A reminder our Goodgym Charity Calendar is now on Sale, just £10 with profits going to the new cancer centre at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Christmas party is now up and listed so don’t miss a fun night and get signed up, a casual night of glowing balls and festive drinks https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/a-very-bath-christmas
