Norwich
Mrs J loves her garden. She has previously always managed it herself, but she has back problems which now stop her from doing it.. It would mean a lot to get it back to where it needs to be.

Four Goodgymer’s turned out to support Friends of Anderson’s Meadow to plant 10 fruit and nut trees. This included almond trees, apricot and a walnut. Watered in with water from the river else look forward to seeing them thrive amongst the daffodils.

A decidedly sunny day, but with some seriously cold gusts, the GG team descended on Valpy Avenue Allotments to tackle some serious brambles. Armed with loppers and rakes the brambles did not stand a chance and we made some serious progress, making a previously overgrown plot habitable again for a lucky allotmenteer.
Afterwards refreshments were served which were very welcome to the team, some admiring a pond that was thriving with tadpoles. Hopefully another visit will occur in the future and more plots can be made ready for use.

On a lovely day I arrived and met Mrs I right away as they were waiting for me. The table was small but fitted together well and made for a sturdy option that could be moved around Mrs I's house when complete. Mrs I was very happy with the table.

Mrs I would like to enjoy the use of a table in her home, due to her age and health she isn't able to assemble it herself.

Tonight 11 GoodGymer's ran 6km to support EACH charity store on Alysham Road.
On our first visit to this store, we were asked to help clear all Winter sale items from the shelves to make way for new Spring stock - but with a twist.
We each collected 10 sale items in matching sizes and placed them into bags so that they could be sold as £5 'mystery bags' in store. This created lots of fun, finding the correct sizes and choosing a variety of clothing.
After an hour 35 bags had been filled!
It was also Ian's 200th Good Deed this evening, so a few of us celebrated with Pizza at the end of the night!

A second mission here in two weeks, continuing to clear the garden of built up brambles. This week the back of the fence was tackled and cleared well, thanks largely to 'The Beast' a hedge trimmer which eats brambles for lunch. The garden is really starting to clear up now.
