A nice change of pace for this week's task! We got the chance to leave our brooms and sponges at home for an evening and lace up for a delivery run around Kenilworth.
Each of our runners took on an individual route with a list of addresses to deliver postcards to the vulnerable members of the Kenilworth community. Despite the unforgiving conditons and couple of double backs, everyone was happy to get some miles in (without the competition pressure I'm sure!).
A big thank you to everyone that came along to help, hopefully to Covid-19 Support Group will have some more tasks for us to help out with over Christmas.

Four GoodGymers arrived on the hottest day of the year to march around the common collecting litter.
Plogging is always a treasure trove hunt you never quite know what you will find..... today's hunt was a little disappointing in terms of treasure as many leaves decided to camouflage themselves as litter, adding a few meters walked.
The Mountain bike track was a good spot to clean up the scattered bottles, crisp packets and chocolate wrappers scattered around, although also a dangerous one where we had to keep an eye out for bikes whizzing past. It was decided that none of us was brave enough to chuck ourselves down the track anymore. Well unless it was on two feet... certainly not two wheels.
A total of 4 bags were cleared and a mammouth 2.9 miles walked in the heat.
It was great to see people in 3D and not 2D. Can't wait for next week....

Michelle Oxtoby earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Michelle completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Michelle was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
