Hello Meyrick ,
Sun 23rd Mar at 8:12am
I hope everyone is well. I will be meeting you in Sydney Gardens now rather than running as originally planned . Where shall I park ? Thank you
Sun 23rd Mar at 9:00am
Hi Julie! Just seen this message, I think parking is difficult around the park, but people that drive in have found spaces off Bathwick Hill, leaves a bit of a walk I'm afraid but you could try that?
Sun 23rd Mar at 9:38am
Thank you ! I will be with you as soon as I find somewhere to park . Looking forward to meeting you all
Sun 23rd Mar at 10:39am
Looking guard to bring you too! Of we are not on the bridge above the railway, find us up by the tennis courts. Look for the red t-shirts.

Five GoodGymers braved a wet and miserable Tuesday evening to assist Newbridge Primary School with the dismantling of their library.
Removing a library I hear you cry! How will the children broaden their minds? Never fear! We diligently moved the books from their neat little shelves, down a long corridor to their temporary piles on tiny tables (that had corresponding tiny chairs)! Using various trollies to aid us; our inner child may have come out as there was a sneaky little race with the empty trollies down the corridor by two of our members. I’d say it was a draw.
The overall idea of the move is for the school to make the corridor into their library space (as they don’t have a lot…space that is). The old library/computer room will be repurposed into their music room. Unfortunately their current one has a leaking ceiling!
Ever efficient, we managed to move all the books waiting for us in half an hour enabling us to skip out early, after offering our further assistance, of course.
Good work team!

The help will mean that the parent who is constructing the new library, will be able to work from May-Sept in his spare time to get the library ready for the start of next academic year.

Bath Report written by Meyrick Williams (He/Him)
The inclement weather continued this week and 8, (yes 8), GoodGymers Turned it On Again to help the Genesis trust with multiple tasks. So it rained again, but conveniently for the rain only for the journey time to and from the mission.
But that was helpful for the three GoodGymers that were weeding the drive outside of the warehouse, probably a little annoying for the others that were given tasks indoors.
Let's have a roll call, Ruth, Kate, Sarah, Helen, Tanya, Emily, Mike and Meyrick, What a turn out, but our kind host ensured we all had a Job to Do.
Sarah, Tanya and Meyrick set about weeding outside and managed to complete all areas designated for this job in the hour we had.
Elsewhere, there was no Misunderstanding as plenty of work was to be done. Genesis Trust don't just do food, they also do books, and a good deal of these needed to be sorted into boxes, GoodGymers Ruth, Kate, Helen, Emily and Mike getting right in and Carpet Crawling as they boxed books and flattened boxes.
Another successful mission, we did so much in one hour, good work team.
(apologies for the really bad Genesis song references in this report)

Bath Report written by Helen Conner (she/her)
Our mission: To fill up the sandpit with sand.
The only problem.... the sand was about 400 metres away down a hill :)
So off we went with 4 wheelbarrows and a couple of shovels and loaded each wheelbarrow to push back up across the park to the giant sandpit. 1 hour and numerous trips later and we had filled a giant hole.
Although, not complete, we made a huge dent in the sand bags and saved a lot of heavy lifting for the regular volunteers
