With a community mission in town cancelled owing to rain the Stirchley crew headed down to the pub to assist Amy in relabelling leaflets for the market. There was a misprint and instead of throwing them away we would just cover the mistake with stickers!
Rich was straight on it with his technique of getting all the stickers on the tips of his fingers while the rest of the crew put them on.
As if this wasn't enough there was also a pub quiz happening which we of course entered as "Sticky Situation" as our team name.
The results? We came 5th in the quiz and corrected 717 leaflets! Ready for us to deliver later in the year

Making the most of the daylight, Rich and Miriam did a 7k run to the mission where we were met with Laura who had cycled 10k from work. The real work out then when we met Amy and began leafleting ~300 houses to inform them about the market!
The fab four then enjoyed a drink and a catch up in the pub afterwards.

Tonight Miriam and Richard embarked on a sunny evening plog along the River Rea (hence the pun!/pronunciation guide to non Brummies on the river name)
Once we reached Cannon Hill Park we were assisted by the loveliest kids who helped us and enjoyed using the litter pickers. 7K ran and a bag of rubbish collected and an ice cream pot seized from a squirrel.

On a cold Spring night 6 GoodGymers set out in Stirchley to do a litter pick!
With no run on the agenda the exercise was to walk the streets and sweep up any litter.
Overall in 30 minutes we collected three bags of rubbish and earned a well deserved drink in the pub afterwards.
Special shout out to Richard for being Miriam for the day and bringing the litter pickers and hoops!!
