This Sunday outing did not leave us without a massive task on hand which was clearing the streets it St Mary’s. Without crossing more than 4 roads we picked up four bags full of rubbish, pizza boxes and plastic. We had multiple compliments from locals: “Bravo!” “Thank you so much, the other side of the road is way worse, it’s embarrassing. So well done!” “If everyone cleaned up it would be a nicer place to live. Well done for volunteering” “Hey, you guys want a drink?” Lewis our latest recruit is THE person to make this task a blast but also great fun. Thanks to Lewis for being a hero!

My second GG event, and glad to be back in the fold

Met some really lovely volunteers, who were so easy to get on with, and was also supported by the indomitable host and manager Dani. Thank you everyone for a great time feeding the animals, and doing a bit of clear-up around the farm as well
