Report written by Bristol runner
Eight GoodGym runner braced themselves to endure torrential rainfalls and heavy winds on their mission to clear the Avon Gorge from litter. To our surprise, the rain held off while we were out searching the riverbanks for discarded goods. This time, Mark from SAS brought his wheelbarrow along which was a total game changer when it came to carrying the heavy rubbish bags the 1km stretch back into town. Instead of everyone having to struggle with tired arms and aching shoulders, only Russ who volunteered to push the heavy load long the path had to suffer this time. Sadly, nobody wanted to rehome the nice plactic chair I found but maybe someone else will pick it up and use to for some sunbathing on the riverbanks.
Thanks everyone of helping out and kudos to Jason who offered to sort out the pick up of our rubbish collection.
