Due to ill health the resident's back lawn was overgrown and needed some strimming and mowing. There was quite a bit to be done and it was tackled with Gusto on a warm afternoon!

Tonight we were back at one of our favourite spots, the secret garden in newtown. A few tasks tonight (after eating an ice cream and picking apples) meant we split into two. Lucy and Issy re-painting the entrance gate and Craig, Lila and Jo dealing with brambles, weeks and fallen apples. A very nice warm evening to do some good!

Today the gang were back at Belle Isle Park, carrying on the fab work to create more space for wildflower areas. Lots of raking and clearing on a hot day, but Lucy came prepped with the ice lollies!

Today the gang were back at Belle Isle Park to carry on helping maintain the area. We started by admiring the new wildflower area that we had worked on a few weeks ago, taking in the efforts all whilst having ice lollies (thanks Lucy!). Then we got to work moving cut grass, paving the way for future wildflower work. We're back at the park next week if you want to join!
A massive welcome to thank you to Lila, who joined us on her first GoodGym session today!

Today we had our gardening gloves on for a great task at West Exe School. They’re in the process of creating a new forest school, and invited us along to help start clearing the grounds.
Strimming weeds, removing brambles, felling small trees and clearing ivy was all part of the task tonight, a very good workout and good to see just how much a small group can do in 90 mins! Keep an eye out for more work with the school as the project progresses!

Today the gang were back at the secret garden to lend a hand with some well-needed maintenance to the green space. With the weeds taking over, we got to work clearing as others trimmed hedges and painted a gate.
