Bramble Run Pt2

Today I was back with Ms C, dealing with the jungle of brambles that has taken over her garden. 90 mins and a pair of secateurs can still get lots done! Not quite finished but the difference in space is striking! One more visit should do the job 💪

The Secret Garden

Tonight 4 GoodGymers were back at the secret garden. We were tasked with cleaning the community areas, spreading compost and doing a little litter pick.

The evening was bitterly cold but always nice to be out doing good, the community garden clearer for our efforts!

Bramble Jungle

Today I was out helping Mrs C - brambles have totally taken over the back garden and she can no longer access it or the back gate.

Armed with some cutters and thick gloves I managed to reclaim the gate and a lot of the garden, but we’ll need to come back again soon and finish it off!

2 goodgymers ventured into the bitter cold and festive crowds to litter pick the city centre. It was busy with the light switch on, first night of the Xmas Market and a college open evening. There was the bonus of free hot chocolate and sweeties from the Ivy to keep us going.
