Lots of good gym members went out on their own. or in pairs, into their local green spaces to clean up litter and rubbish.

Single Homeless Project Barnet are two homeless shelters in Finchley (65 bedspaces all together). You can find more information about the charity on: https://www.shp.org.uk/ Recently, they did a call out for men’s shoes donations for their service users.

GoodGym Barnet (and beyond) rose to the challenge and donated many pairs of shoes throughout the month of March. Some of our highlights are below:

• If this was a competition, Paul and Sarah would definitely be the winners for the incredible number of donations they made (please, see the report photos).

• Avital not only helped out by donating, but she also did a great job of spreading the word amongst her group of friends who were keen to help.

• I did not have any men’s shoes so I contacted Giedre (the service manager) separately and checked if I could donate two female coats. I was pleased he said ‘Yes’ to my query and I hope it has helped the service and its users.
