12 GoodGymers climbed into the rooftop breeze during Wednesday's heat wave!
We were back at the Greenwood Centre in Kentish town this week.
A regular haunt for us since January, we turned up to work the final touches ahead of the many gardens' public tours in early June!
And while we've been here in the cold and the wet and the dark of winter, we've never been here in a smoking heat wave!..
...until last night!
And so our wonderful group arrived in hats and sunscreen and with plenty of water to boot!
We welcomed Hana (on their first good deed â welcome!) as well as many wonderful regular faces: Caitlin, Ellen, Emilie, Gary, John, Jackie, Karen, Lydia, Siobhan, and Theo!
The group did so much that it was impossible for me to keep up, but I do know that we left our host Catherine feeling very pleased about the fantastic work everyone did!
And... with Karen's birthday around the corner... Ellen provided sweet celebrations with fabulous cake and strawberries! Thank you, Ellen! Happy Birthday, Karen!
Thank you, everyone! Here's to next time!

11 GoodGymers ride the heat wave and lift all the heavy things!
The new Triangle Site Community Garden is the latest project from the (wonderful) Global Generation team.
Set on a quiet side road off busy York Way in King's Cross, the Triangle is a permanent community garden that has been built from the ground up by volunteers, gardeners, builders, and more. It is haven for sustainable building and growing, and you should definitely visit!
This group arrived primed and ready to lift and move and repeat, which is what they did splendidly!
Our task started and ended at a large storage container sat right by the busy train tracks heading in and out of King's Cross, and we...
...emptied everything, including scary-looking machinery, crates upon crates upon crates, and many copies of Good Woodworking, and then we...
...carried umpteen planks of heavy wood into the container and organised them into perfect Jenga towers, and finally we...
...waved to many trains and received a few hearty waves in return!
Thank you, everyone!!
And a big thank you to Ariane, Emily, and Ralf for the wonderful photos!
