Three Goodgymers plus an offspring gathered in Wardown Park to set up, marshal and break down the Walk of Hope for Brain Tumour research.
The sun broke through...in the distance Luton scored their third...and over 150 walkers completed up to 10 laps in memory of loved ones and to raise money for continued research.
The Rock Choir serenaded the crowd at the start with a rendition of Fix You and the whole afternoon went off very well with lots of smiles along with memories.
Our Goodgym trio (and a bit) helped set things up, re-routed the walk as the lake broke over the path and marshalled the walkers safely round.

The war memorial Lychgate at Holy Trinity church needed a clean up and protecting with a coat of oily wood preservative.
A team of four, including new member Miki, arrived on a beautiful sunny morning and set to work. Firstly brushing down the spiderwebs and clearing debris off the roof. Then giving the wood a light sanding down before starting the painting.
A couple of hours later we had run out of paint but the lychgate was definitely looking much smarter!
