Ms D refers to her garden as a “community peace garden.” It was filled with a beautiful variety of plants and flowers, along with many unique treasures she had discovered during her charity shop visits.
We shared a common interest in forensics and the law, so we spent time chatting about the programmes we both enjoy and discussing local cases that have taken place over the years she has lived in her home.
I had a lovely time talking with her while helping with a general tidy-up.

Mr T would be able to enjoy his front and back garden again as he has not been able to do the gardening himself due to poor health/bad shoulder (rotator cuff) recent operation on his legs.

What an absolute pleasure it was weeding this garden.
When I arrived, the sun had stared shining and I was ready to get going. From start to finish. Mr S and I chatted away about life families and even shared some photos which each other.
I also had a little black and white helper who was clearly very keen to be observing what I was up to. The cat stayed the duration with us and to my surprise it wasn’t Mr S’s cat which made me laugh.
Mr S looks forward to having the remainder of the weeding completed.

There were a few different areas to work on in this garden but I got to work on cutting the hedge back for Ms L.
The brambles were hidden but very I was reminded they were there every time one snuck through my gloves. I think I eventually won against the thorns which a lot of perseverance and patience. 😊
Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to get to the other side of the garden or out the front, but I assured Ms L that the mission would be listed again so someone could finish off the bits I didn’t manage to get to.

And there was a path…
When I arrived I realise this might be too big a job for one person but spoke to Mr A and asked which part of the garden he would like to be completed first. We made a decision that I would clear the path for him today and his 100ft garden would be finished on another occasion (or three). 😊
Luckily I had the sun shining and some music playing quietly and I was able to make a start on this big job.
As agreed I cleared the path and Mr A was happy with the progress.
He looks forward to the job being finished, but was satisfied for now.
