Tonight couldn’t have started any cuter as Sam met us at the start with baby Jasper, the latest addition to the GoodGym Norwich family. He’s already kitted out in GoodGym attire thanks to the very kind Elizabeth.

Bridie was taking part in her 1st GoodGym run so a big welcome to her.

Liam was taking part in his 25th good deed and I earned my wings by taking part in my 100th good deed.

Elizabeth was back runner this week.

We were visiting the Hewett Academy to help them prepare for an Art Exhibition for the students. It was a nice 2km each-way run.

There were lots of exhibition boards and our jobs were to remove the staples (the inspiration for the pun), sand the boards down and paint them.

As expected Darren got the given the duties of doing the tall boards! The team split into different groups to make the job most effective so as soon as some boards were free from staples they could immediately be sanded and then painted.

There was plenty of white dust from the sanding… we looked like we’d just returned from a night at a rave haha.

Us doing 45 minutes at the task was a huge help to the academy and hopefully we can return in the future to do other tasks for them.

Next week we’re visiting Marlpit Community Centre for an Easter Monday trip.
