Our biggest group of the year - 19 GoodGymer's assembled at Oxfam store Magdalen Street.
Shout out's to Emma attending her first session, Maddy & Jack returning after a break, and Stephen who completed his 250th session!
In a scene similar to 60 Minute Makeover, Emily gave out the tasks for the evening (clean as much as possible) and the team spread out armed with hoovers, dusters, scrapers, tackling any surface that needed a clean. Even the toilet floors were given a thorough working over!
The floor downstairs was the main target, with dirt marks leaving a trail like foot prints - the big question was who was the culprit?
In a hour we had covered nearly every shelf, table and flooring, leaving the store looking transformed!
Well done team, it was a fantastic effort. Also best wishes to Jordan who moves north next month.

Tonight 10 GoodGymer's headed to 35th Sea Scouts in Mousehold.
The original plan had been to spray paint tyres that would be used as planters. But with rain falling heavily during the day we decided to focus on the outdoor grounds instead.
The sun came out as we looked out over one of the best views of the city below us. The team spread out to pull up bracken that had sprung up amoungst the wild flowers and fennel. In an hour we had filled 15 bags and left them underneath the sheltered storage area.
It was great to be back here, and we hope to return when the venue is next available.

Tonight 9 GoodGymer's ran or cycled 4km to support St Matthew's Church. It was our first visit here, and the route included a jog up Gas Hill!
Once we arrived Reverend Patrick showed us the tools and asked if there were any 'Happy choppers'? Which at GoodGym the answer is always yes!
He directed us to the overgrown areas of the car park, and the borders in front of the church, and we got to work clearing weeds and brambles so that the entrance signs could be seen more clearly.
Also inside the church an Easter display needed dismantling, including a number of large stones to be carrier back into the garden. In no time at all, both tasks were completed with a sense of satisfaction comparing the before and after photos... We were also offered refreshments of tea & biscuits!
Shout outs to Francesca for completing her 10th task, and Emily reaching 100 Good Deeds!! Marvelous work everyone.
