Give GoodGymers the basic materials and they'll create something beautiful!
The task was set by Hive, asking for Christmas table or wall decorations for Portsmouth care homes.
We made centrepieces from nature's bounty, tealight holders that will send out Xmas colours and bunting to string across the dining rooms.
It was great to welcome Sadie to her first GG activity (good luck in the Southampton 10K, Sadie!) And lovely to have the growing GGers, Alice & Jack, to keep us entertained with their chatter!
And well done, you crafty GGers!

GoodGymers did their magic at Baffins again, spreading out in all directions to cover the field, the wood, the pond area and the playground.
We hunted out the litter amongst the trees and caught in the brambles - such a difference to a few years ago when we'd find so much rubbish at Baffins.
Jane celebrated her 200th good deed and wore the cape for a photo shoot alongside the new MP for Portsmouth North, who was also doing her bit to litter-pick the park.
Bravo to the Baffins Pond Association for organising another successful clean-up!

An excellent turnout for a quick lunchtime litter pick in Milton Park, and on what turned out to be a beautiful autumnal day!
Babies were definitely the theme today as we had mini GG-er Aida join us, we bumped into my week-old niece in the park (small world Portsmouth), and found a baby's dummy (or maybe a sweetie dummy thingy!)!
Extra kudos to Jane and Yvonne who fought tooth and nail to clear the difficult bits of litter stuck behind the fence by the bus stop/library, with the help of the extra long pickers!

We welcomed Will to his first GoodGym session this evening - give him a cheer on his profile!
After a brisk jog down to PARCS, we got stuck in with neatening up their front garden. Dave and Judy took point on hedge trimming, whilst the rest of us got on with pulling up weeds from the cracks in the forecourt and clearing away litter. The time certainly went quickly with lots of chatting - from snakes to skinny-dipping, topics were certainly vast!
Harriet from PARCS was very impressed with how much we got done in such a short space of time - great work, everyone!
