Team GG Pompey picked their first batch of 2026 litter around Canoe Lake.
Surprisingly and happily there wasn't a ton to collect. but the usual cig ends and sweet wrappers were all put to the picker.
A few firework casings were about after last nights festivities.
And a pesky floating plastic bag was just out of reach for Dave, who gladly didnt take a new year plunge in with the swans!!

After having a wander around the Festival of Spring, we headed off to help Neptune's Pirates clean Eastney beach.
At only 6 months old, Wilma was full of enthusiasm and bounded across the sand looking for litter with us.
It was a lovely afternoon, in a beautiful location, in good company and we filled 2 bags with litter.

We had lots of fun celebrating an amazing year of GoodGyming with good company, tasty snacks and drinks and tonnes of laughter at Dice Portsmouth.
Jen showed off her ninja skills with a game of Cobra Paw, whilst Sinéad had a natural aptitude for rummaging around in a sock during The Sock Game. Judy was the Queen of Funky Chicken and we daren't say "um" with Lou on the buzzer! A while team favourie was definitley Scrawl - if you haven't checked it out, please do! This is very much NSFW, so not recommended for play with the kiddos. Naked in a lift, anyone?
We also had the annual certificates - congratulation to Judy for annihilating us all in the Good Deed table, whilst Dave was a whopping 600km ahead of second place in the Forrest Gump award.
It was a super afternoon, thanks to all who came.

We helped marshal the pride parade! So proud to be part of both GoodGym and this wonderfully diverse Portsmouth community. Approx 3000 people took part in the parade. The biggest pride event in Portsmouth to date.
