A busy foodbank today with 24 food parcels and over 40 people using the cafe. Less volunteers than usual had Rob and Richard churning them out alone and a great job they did!

Chairs stacked, crockery washed, tables folded. And the mystery of the disappearing bin unfolded. Rob reappeared with the culprit having emptied it outside. Resulting in the question: Where you bin?

It was a busy foodbank again today with 5 GoodGymmers on the task. Lucy, myself and Rob were out back making up the food parcels and toiletries non-stop and there was steady stream of food swap requests. Pat was working in the kitchen and Fiona was on the front desk. 24 food parcels were made up alongside 23 toiletry packs. Rob and Pat had disappeared before we had a chance to get the photo opportunity. Must get some snaps of them next time!
Tuesday 25th February
Pat done 100 good deeds with GoodGym.
Pat has just reached another level: 100 good deeds with GoodGym. That's at least 100 times when they could have easily done something easier. But they didn't, Pat has kept going and going. Helping a lot of other people and getting a bit fitter at the same time. Congratulations Pat.

The Good Gym ladies were running the session at today's foodbank. Yvonne came in and took over the crate organising and packing in the cupboard while Lucy was guarding the swaps table. Fiona was on the front desk and I was out back packing toiletry requests. The soup, fruit salad and cakes on offer went down a storm as usual.
