Around 25,000 runners gathered today in Trafalgar Square to join the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run. It was a lovely mild and dry weather with a sun ☀️ shyly lurking behind the buildings.

The runners were welcomed by a pair of magnificient ice queens 👸👸, friendly polar bears 🐻‍❄ and a fake snow falling from the sky ❄️.

GoodGym folks - met close to the Statue of James II, just around the start line. We all had a different start times assigned so it was quite hard to sync but we did manage to grab a cool pic 📸 with most of us on it (in our exclusive bearly ears looks).

Steph was in the first (the fastest 🏎) wave and although he hasn't joined us at the meeting spot, he did share with me his epic finisher 🏁 photo.

Alex and Andy run together to then snap few wonderful pics with a handsome polar bear 🐻‍❄ just after they both reached the finish line.

Gosia run with her friend Lorena, and to her surprise met at couple of other GoodGymmers while in the queue the start time ❤️❤️.

Emilie a race run after a long break from "official" races so we were all super glad she did it with Goodgym. And how epicly she looked, check out her photos from with the medal 🏅.

John and Anne didn't feel "there" to join the run today but we still feel they were the part of the same journey. John still decided to join us in Trafalgar Square and delivered a top class cheer 🎉 to other GoodGym folks.

The run was full of attractions which made the run feel very varied and fun. We passed through a penguin party 🐧, gave high fives to huskies 🐶 ("Who let the dogs out?! Hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo"), and could see a various performers incl. choirs 🎶, singers, drum 🥁 and trumpet 🎺 players and dancers 💃. Positive vibes everywhere you look 👀.

After the run, we met for a pint 🍻 in The Admirality, to catch up on calories 🔋 and also share experiences from the run. That was defo the coolest start of the Sunday.
