Weldone to everyone who contributed to this round of donations!
Steph prepared and dropped off a generous collection of items to the local YMCA charity shop in Hayes, including clothes (mainly tops), a light shade and a basket. She made it just before closing time, thank you for making the effort to get there!
Harvey successfully delivered a selection of books to the Oxfam bookshop, great work supporting a fantastic cause.
Ashley completed their 100th mission by donating to a local Jigsaw charity shop, an amazing milestone, congratulations!
Lynn and Jimmy combined their time volunteering at Age UK with additional donations, making their visit even more impactful.
Well done everyone for supporting local charities and helping your communities!

This evening we met up with Clive from AgeUK who had lots of of leaflets for us to distribute. The leaflets offer advice to older people about how to get confidential benefits and pension advice. We were given a list of streets to target, and a bundle of leaflets with two varieties. A plan was quickly developed about which streets we could most effectively get leafletted in the allotted time with just the two of us. We decided to focus on Shrewsbury Road and Norfolk Road, also doing all of the little offshoots from them. This also included gated flats and almshouses up Fitzwalter Road.
Giving up the post
After an hour of battling through stiff gates, venturing down dark tracks, and risking dog bites, we set off back to the Showroom to debrief Clive and hand back the remaining leaflets.

Today we joined in with donating to our local charity shops. All donations were gratefully received and I picked up a few bargains too from my little village charity shop.

GoodGymmer Nick lent a helping hand at Age UK by organising and labelling a full rack of dresses.
His efforts helped make the display more accessible and appealing for shoppers, supporting the charity’s mission and freeing up time for the staff to focus on other tasks. Weldone Nick your efforts are greatly appreciated.

We participated in donating to a local charity shop day. I delivered a bag of goodies to my village shop Dove Cottage Hospice. It’s good to have a rummage in the shop too as I can always find something I need.
