Goodgymers hate to see waste and luckily due to all our goodgyming we have good local connections. This allowed us to save a large amount of water from the crusher and deliver it to the Foodbank at Kings Church where it can be given to those in need. In true goodgym style this event was a relay with Maura, Laura, Abby and Caroline at one end and Richard and I at the other. Many hand make light water!

5 Goodgymers were layered up and ready early doors to set up the water station and hand out bottle in the Great South Run. This year the flip top lids allowed easier access for the runners. Laura was first to hand out water to a super speedy elite woman, Caroline got stuck in, cheering and handing out water. she didn't managed to throw water at her family members as they ran past but instead chucked some cheers their way! Maura Abby and I loved spotting Goodgymers in the wild running a good race! its surprisingly tiring cheering, clapping and handing out water for 3 hours. Well done all!

Caroline Moakes done a 6 month mission streak.
Caroline just completed a six month streak of doing missions. That’s so many bags of garden rubbish cleared and jobs done to help someone out and put a smile on their face. Give Caroline a cheer to encourage them to keep up the good work.

A little road trip to Moors Valley parkrun today. It was an opportunity to say thank you for helping John in August.
Money had been raised by a variety of goodgymers, friends & family to buy a defibrillator for the parkrun kit. ❤️
It was a very cold but bright morning. Lots of layers required today. 🥶
The fun started with Val using a low ‘junior’ toilet 😂😂. Great way to do warm up squats? Vicki laughed so much she nearly needed it herself.
We were part of the 47 volunteers there today and it was route ‘B’ due to the weather conditions.
Aoife was a distracted timekeeper and an incredible photographer., Val was one of the organised funnel managers, Wilson celebrated everyone’s run by handing them a finish token (500 runners today) Katie & John had a great run and sorted the tokens in the warmth of the coffee shop. Vicki & Caroline had a social Park Walk role. Louisa, Benny & Pip were cheerleaders!
Just enough time to grab a hot drink afterwards before leaving the car park by 10.45am to avoid extra parking charges!
(Not put up lots of photos as a lot of other people in them today) 😃

Caroline Moakes run a race with GoodGym for the first time.
Caroline has done their first race with GoodGym. Performing on the day is a lot of pressure; Caroline's dealt with the nerves and turned up on the day to make it happen.

Runners and supporters gathered at Exbury Gardens to run (and support) 10km and to celebrate Rachel's final run in the UK before she heads for a land "Down Under".
It was hot and windy on the course but very pretty. Special mentions to Jo for making the right decision to stay on the sidelines post-illness and to Aoife for an excellent run, 7 minutes quicker than she predicted.
Post running and cheering, it was all about the picnics, with an impressive array of food from Rachel's family and some very calorific baking from Jen!
We gave Rachel her card (kudos to Wilson for her production skills) and a print of her 200 good deeds t-shirt design (thanks Angela) to be displayed in a prominent place in her new home.... just to make sure she doesn't forget us or her awesomeness in her 200+ good deeds. :)
We then got to have a wander round the gardens, which were beautiful and John got some extra running in chasing Jack!
