Packing down after the food bank 🥫 involved the usual stock reordering, lids back on, putting everything back in the cupboard. Then it was time to “Shut that door!” until next week.🚪

Today we made up 21 individual crates out back in the small food cupboard at All Saint's, space is tight so some nifty footwork was required! I'm pleased to report our supply of stock was pretty much on target.

Lisa W earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Lisa completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Lisa was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Lisa W has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Lisa is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Today we litter-picked in two shifts:
Shift 1 was Katie CR, Louisa & Judy - successfully clearing litter from Car Park 2 at Farlington Marshes.
Shift 2 was Yvonne, Judy and new GG member Lisa . Lisa has previously joined us for a beach clean, but this was her first official task, already wearing the GG t shirt (give her a cheer!) We cleared Car Park 1.
Result: some thank-yous from Sunday walkers, and 2 bags & a purple bucket of recycling, as well as several huge bags of rubbish.
Well done, shift workers!
