Tonight 19 GoodGymers ran 6km to Mousehold Health to help support the biodiversity in this natural habitat.
It's a regular and popular task on the GG Norwich calender lead by Will the local warden, who provided tools and a gave us a historical background on this famous site.
We split into 2 groups, covering a wide area pulling up bracken to allow heather and other plant species to grow. We also used 5 pitch forks to clear the area of a former chapel ready for a Heritage Open Day History Walk taking place this weekend. See the booking link if you are interested in attending.
We also celebrated the runners, volunteers and cheerleaders, who took to the streets of the city centre for Run Norwich 10km yesterday! Nice one team.
After a swift hours work it was time to bid farewell. We will be back again for more conservation work in the next month.

I marshalled at Eaton Junior Parkrun. There were still a good number of runners despite it being Run Norwich day, which might have preoccupied some parents from running families.

50 young people, on a warm morning ran 2k around Waterloo Park juniors. Lots of new volunteers today as Run Norwich took away most of the core team. Well done for stepping up for all those attending. Lots of happy faces crossing the finish line

Today on Cattons #555 event 286 people ran/wLk/jog there way around this glorious park. Run Norwich 10k tomorrow meant the Volunteer Rota had been full for weeks so I decided to Park walk for the first time, and very pleasant it was to. Our very own Bobby Bakewell was running his 200th parkrun today, well done, unofficial but fantastic all the same. Good luck everyone running tomorrow & those volunteering to

Mrs T had several rose bushes in her front garden that she wanted to get rid of but could not do the work it took herself. I managed to get all of the roses out and make a start on an another big plant by the fence that needed to be tackled by her husband at the weekend.
Mrs T was very happy with the work and seemed over the moon with the amount of clearing that was done.
