The September clothes swap saw a good turnout from both GoodGym and swappers so we were kept busy putting out clothes for the duration of the task.

Lots of fun was had by all!

Four of us joined the clothes swap team for the last evening set up before this task moves to Saturday mornings.

Lots of fun as usual, big shout out to Elle who completed her longest run ever prior to the task!

Three regulars GG volunteers at the clothes swap this month helped ensure another successful event with clothes sorted and hung, drinks served and everything out away in record time at the end.

Post-swap we had lunch with the rest of the team and enjoyed an afternoon of spa treatments that left us looking radiant. I've never left a GoodGym task smelling better 😁

Just the two of us tonight for this one but it was quality not quantity for Leanne's last GG task before she jets if to Africa to climb a big rock.

We made light work of the task and left the place with everything ready for the morning.

👕 7 lovely GoodGymmers came to help at the clothes swap this month. Some of us came straight from parkrun, for our second volunteering stint of the day. Some came out of purely altruistic ambitions, answering the pleas that the clothes swap were short of their volunteers today. (Some may have had an additional alterior motive for some this month, in looking for an outfit suitable for a wedding (parkrun), lurking around the sparkly rail.) Success was had in both senses - we did lots of helping and outfits were found.

🍰 Vicky had both her work and GoodGym hats on today, selling some (delicious) cake to raise money for York Carers Trust.

⏰ The hour passed quickly and it was soon time to head off, safe in the knowledge that we've hopefully saved some clothes from landfill.

We make very quick work setting up the clothes swap then spent equally as long discussing dating apps and serial killers.
