It was a decently large turnout for the monthly people's park litterpick in spite of the light rain showers. Five from GoodGym joined another bunch of Friends of the Park and out we went across the park and over the hill searching for the litter dropped by local park users over the last few weeks.

Altogether we got about 15 bags of litter plus a DVLA car clamp and left the park spotless for the weekend visitors.

2 Luton Goodgymers supported The Friends of Peoples Park with their monthly litterpick . As ever, many obscure finds and lot of good work done to collect around 20 bags of litter. The walk in the sunshine was nice and definitely made it worthwhile. Well done team, great job

No big ticket items to report...the regular litter picks are keeping the park in good shape and hopefully are encouraging users to be more mindful about their litter 🤞

Around 13 bags collected to keep the momentum going followed by an unplanned upper body workout as we lobbed our bags into the cage on the council truck!!!

We arrived at People’s Park in Luton and began our work by collecting the litter scattered around the park. We focused especially on picking up plastic bottles and other discarded items found along the paths and under the trees.

Working together, we cleaned the area thoroughly, removing anything that could cause mess or harm the green spaces. Thanks to the team’s cooperation, the park became cleaner and more organized, and we felt proud of our positive contribution to the community.

The GoodGymers joined up with the team at Peoples Park for the monthly litter pick. Despite the warm weather (which usually means more litter) the overall haul wasn’t as much as expected!

However we did find some litter pick firsts during today’s task! A whole BBQ complete with utensils AND a full tray of meat 🤣, we also stumbled across a toy doll and a Halloween pumpkin outfit, all a bit creepy when put together.
