The food crates were well prepared early on by Richard this morning in what turned out to be a fairly chilled morning at the foodbank. Rob and myself were making up the toiletry packs and Lucy covered the weigh in table. We missed Pat today as she is out of action with a broken bone, hopefully she is back on the mend now, get well soon Pat! x
Fiona was on the front desk processing the tickets and, in separate news, was sporting a sign with Ramsay Street on it to promote awareness that the TV series neighbours is tragically drawing to a close, and that there is a petition to sign if you are fan! Who knew? Not me! Fiona has the details..
Wednesday 12th March
Fiona McGovern done 100 good deeds with GoodGym.
Fiona has just reached another level: 100 good deeds with GoodGym. That's at least 100 times when they could have easily done something easier. But they didn't, Fiona has kept going and going. Helping a lot of other people and getting a bit fitter at the same time. Congratulations Fiona.

It was a busy foodbank again today with 5 GoodGymmers on the task. Lucy, myself and Rob were out back making up the food parcels and toiletries non-stop and there was steady stream of food swap requests. Pat was working in the kitchen and Fiona was on the front desk. 24 food parcels were made up alongside 23 toiletry packs. Rob and Pat had disappeared before we had a chance to get the photo opportunity. Must get some snaps of them next time!

It was a glorious sunny day today as the foodbank doors opened. There was a steady flow of customers coming in and sampling the array of delicious cakes and a good few stacks if pancakes.
Richard was making up the food parcels and sorted out a minor dried spaghetti๐ incident! Myself and Rob made up the toiletries. Lucy was on the swaps and Fiona reported a total of 25 parcels were made up.
We missed Pat this week but last week it had been Pat and Rob's 100th Good Deed! Congratulations to them both! ๐๐๐ (Photo including them both from last week included).
