Packing down after the food bank ๐ฅซ involved the usual stock reordering, lids back on, putting everything back in the cupboard. Then it was time to โShut that door!โ until next week.๐ช

Today we made up 21 individual crates out back in the small food cupboard at All Saint's, space is tight so some nifty footwork was required! I'm pleased to report our supply of stock was pretty much on target.

5 GoodGymmers helped out at the food bank today, Lucy and her mum were front of house. I helped Richard and Rob to make up the parcels in the store room and they kindly showed me the ropes. We had lots of volunteers today, it was really organised and over 40 parcels were handed out.
Potatoes, vegetable soup and jam didnโt seem popular today, hence the title!

Smashed out 26 parcels for 34 adults, 20 children and at least 101 dalmatians (felt like it anyway) The cake cafe ran out, busy busy busy, but with 5 GGers plus Rob, all went well

5 Goodgymmers turned up to help with All Saint's foodbank today. We handed out food for 20 families. The 5 of us helped out by filling the crates, weighing them and trying to get people's attention to come and collect their food. (Sometimes this was not easy. Even my 'teacher's' voice didn't always summon people) For my 300th good deed I was keeping an eye on the exchange table.
